There are some families that leave a lasting mark on your heart, and this is absolutely one of them.

Having the honor of photographing not just Hallie and Walter’s wedding, but also Cynthia & Joe’s wedding, is something we never take for granted. Being invited back to document another milestone for the same family is one of the greatest compliments we could ever receive.

This family loves deeply, welcomes people wholeheartedly, and has a way of making everyone around them feel seen and important. It was such a joy to celebrate alongside them again.

And getting to do it all at the beautiful Mint Springs Farm with an incredible vendor team made the day even sweeter.

Days like these remind us just how thankful we are for the people we get to serve and the relationships that grow far beyond wedding day. Thank you Jesus for this family.

Mint Springs Farm absolutely came to life for this open house. From the soft and bold summer color palettes to every thoughtfully designed detail, it was a reminder of just how beautiful this venue is in every season.

Cheers to finally being able to share more from this day.

Now that their full gallery is finished, I keep finding myself smiling as I look back through these images. There was so much joy packed into one day, the kind that doesn’t have to be manufactured because it’s simply who these two are.

From colorful florals and thoughtful little details to a dance floor that stayed full all night, every part of the day felt like an honest reflection of them. And through it all was the steady reminder that their marriage is built on something far greater than a beautiful wedding day.

What a gift it was to document the beginning of this next chapter. So grateful we got to be there for it.

Yesterday’s sunrise engagement session was a reminder of why I’m always thankful for couples who are willing to get up early and beat the Tennessee summer heat. The soft morning light, cooler temperatures, and quiet parks are always worth the alarm clock. 
But what made this session especially memorable was Maddie and Jack. They were pure joy from the moment we met. Easy to talk to, easy to photograph, and the kind of people you’d want to keep hanging out with after the session is over.  
My dad is a Marine and flew fighter jets, so getting to talk aviation with Maddie was such a treat. She’s an absolute bada** and still one of the most down-to-earth people you’ll meet. Counting down the days until their wedding.

A beautiful evening at Cheekwood with these two.

One of my favorite parts of this job is seeing how relationships come back around. The groom’s mom is a wedding planner, and I photographed a wedding she planned a few years ago. Now I get to photograph her son’s engagement and wedding. I always appreciate those full circle moments.

Looking forward to celebrating with them at CJ's Off the Square on the wedding day.

From the moment we arrived, it was evident that this was a family whose foundation is Christ. The joy, peace, and intentionality woven throughout the day pointed to something far greater than the celebration itself. And perhaps what stood out most was watching a bride and groom who weren’t striving to create the “perfect” wedding day. They were simply resting in the gift of marriage that God had given them. 
Every detail reflected who they are. Vibrant colors danced through every corner of the day. Birds made their appearance in the most thoughtful ways (and I think it’s safe to say our bride may qualify as a true ornithologist 😉). Wildflowers mingled effortlessly with more traditional blooms, creating arrangements that felt both untamed and intentional, much like the beauty of God’s creation itself. 
Southall Meadows provided the perfect backdrop, complementing her vision so naturally that it felt as though the venue had been waiting for this very day.
 We left grateful, not only to have documented such a beautiful celebration, but to have witnessed a marriage beginning with Christ at the center, surrounded by family, friends, and a team of vendors who made the day such a joy to be part of. 
What a gift.
