A little Halloween magic at Swedish Candy Culture! 🎃🍬 I had so much fun capturing their first Halloween celebration here in Fort Worth! Costumes, festive Swedish candies, drinks, great music, and a whole lot of personality made this such a fun evening. I’m especially excited to partner with this amazing local small business and help showcase their space and the experience they’ve created. The State Fair of Texas may have just wrapped up, but we're not quite ready to say goodbye to all the fair fun! 🎡

We loved photographing the DFW NACE Fair of Texas, an annual fundraiser bringing our incredible hospitality and events community together for a night of carnival-inspired fun, delicious food, and giving back.

Held at The Village Dallas, the evening supported , an organization providing chef-prepared meals to communities facing disasters and crises.

From the colorful details to the people who make our industry so special, this event was a reminder of what happens when our community comes together for a great cause.

A little fair fun with a whole lot of heart! ❤️

A little behind-the-scenes recap from photographing the BESAGE Conference at Fairmont Mayakoba in Mexico. It was a full week of lifestyle headshots, education, networking, incredible food, local culture, and meeting so many new people along the way. I love events like this because the photography goes far beyond headshots. We get to document the energy of the conference, the conversations, the learning, the environment, and all the little moments that make the experience feel memorable. Fall mini sessions are about more than getting one perfect family photo. CJ is our family portrait specialist at Lightly Photography, and one of the things she cares about most is helping kids feel comfortable enough to actually be themselves. Sometimes that means getting down on their level. Sometimes it means giving them space to warm up. Sometimes it means letting them run around for a minute instead of forcing them into a pose. Of course we want the beautiful smiling-at-the-camera photo. But we also want the photographs that show who your family is right now. Your child holding onto you. The way they look at you. The silly laugh. The wild energy. The little expressions you know are going to change way too fast. As a mom herself, CJ understands that those are often the photographs that become more meaningful with time. A 60th birthday celebration with all the drama—in the best way. Sarah Garrett created such a beautiful atmosphere at HALL Arts Hotel with colorful florals, deep greens, layered textures, ceiling treatment, draping, and moody lighting that completely transformed the room. Then fill it with friends, laughter, and one very loved birthday girl… and somehow make it even better with the surprise of her twin sister. Because really, two birthday girls are better than one. A few sneak peeks from such a special night.
