Throwback to when I lived in Hawaii and got to capture this dreamy sunrise proposal 🥹

Y’all have been loving my proposal content, so I had to share this one! The view, the surprise, the sunrise colors… everything was so perfect. This is still one of the sessions I’m most proud of!

Getting to capture moments like this will forever be one of my favorite parts of being a photographer! 🩷

She thought they were showing up to model for a creative photoshoot… but Brian and I were secretly planning their surprise proposal the entire time 🥹💍

I first photographed Ellie and Brian in 2024, and getting to continue documenting their story has been so special!!🫶🏻 When Brian reached out about proposing, we came up with a plan to get Ellie to the Fort Worth Botanic Garden without giving away the surprise. She may have been a little suspicious, but somehow we pulled it off! 😂

I’m so grateful they trusted me to capture such an important moment in their lives. From photographing them graduating college to photographing the beginning of their next chapter… this is exactly why I love what I do and the connections I build with my clients 🥹

Photos aren’t meant to feel perfect, they’re meant to feel like you 🤍

My goal during every session is to capture the real you! Photoshoots aren't the time to experiment a completely different version of yourself and try new styles, clothing, or hairstyles! The best photos happen when you feel comfortable, confident, and authentically yourself 🫶🏻

One of the first things I hear at almost every session is “We have no idea how to pose!” and that’s okay!! that’s my job!

At the beginning of each session, I start with a few of my go to poses while paying attention to what makes you feel comfortable, confident, and shows your true self!

With Anna and Jace, I quickly noticed that every time I asked them to look at each other, they immediately started giggling. From that moment on, I knew exactly how to bring out their candid side! Rather than forcing them into poses that didn’t feel natural, I used what made them feel most like themselves to guide the rest of the session!

You don’t have to be “good at photos” Just show up as yourself, and I’ll figure out what brings out the real you 🩷
