and I had THE BEST time photographing this beautiful couple and their gorgeous family on their wedding day! They have so many memories and images captured during our time together and know they will enjoy them for years to come. Congrats to this perfect pair and blessings to them and their family. These images reflect only a small portion of their beautiful wedding gallery.

Congratulations are in order for this !

Another straight out of camera image of a recent family photo session along our gorgeous shoreline. Can't wait for this family to see their gallery. The session was a gift to the mom for Mother's Day and they came all the way down from Missouri to make this happen while here. πŸ™‚ And.. side note... I was sick when I photographed this session and I gave them a heads up regarding that. I know it is safe as I stay a good distance from my clients and all outside. But... the big thing... the biggest thing.. is they stopped right there on the beach and prayed for me. So glad God led this Jesus loving family my way. One of those family sessions that will always stand out in my memory.

This is not my first time with this fun (and gorgeous) family of five! I am so thrilled they came my way and trusted me once again to get some beautiful moments captured for their family on Amelia. Our main goal was to capture that and we certainly did that (and you bet I will be sharing some of those, soon), but also some awesome family moments - including the fur babies. For anyone who follows me. I was sick when I shot this session. They knew I was as I always give a heads up. However, when arriving home, afterwards, my temp was 101.8 and that is when I figured out I had something going on. (My session the next day was the one Jensen shot for me). Here I am two weeks later and still dealing with the back end of this mess, but so happy to say I feel as though I am finally moving forward. And, I am thankful. Now... I am playing catch up (BIG TIME). This is just a tease to let them know I am moving forward. :) More to come... Oh, and if this is tmi... small businesses have to work through more than meets the eye sometimes. Through rain, snow, sleet, hail.. well, you know.. and sickness :)

If you live around our area, you might be aware of a serious respiratory illness making its way around. Well... it found me, 18 days ago. The first 6 days, I had no idea it was respiratory, but the days since then, it has shown itself at its worse. During those sickest days, I still had shoots. Some of them I was able to take care of myself, but this one, I just couldn't. However, I so wanted to meet this family I had booked online, so I let them know, ahead of time, I was leaving them in good hands, but wanted to meet them (far apart of course), and maybe take few photos myself. So, I did. I shot these and a few more. It doesn't take me long to shoot a bunch. LOL - I decided since Jensen shared his beautiful work of this family, I would share a sweet moment of the boys and one of mom and daughter, and a silly shot of dad and boys... because, doesn't life usually reflect what I captured? Anyway, I shot fast and got out of there and as I did told Jensen I was going to get a 'drone' shot of them walking to the beach, so I did. No drone, but a high sand dune that came in very handy - with a touch of sea oats. And, as I left Jensen continued his thing and he captured some spectacular moments for them as I knew he would. I won't leave my people to just anyone, you know. :) Thanks, for capturing the beautiful moments you did. So happy for all of us, it was an absolutely gorgeous evening. So wish I had been there for that silhouette shot... it was amazing!

Such a fun bunch! What would y'all like to do? Skip down the beach? Okay.... go. πŸ™‚ Another fun shoot in the books. Of course, we have the traditional as well as cool shots like this. πŸ™‚ And, then.. see those clouds??? Yep, we finished up in the rain, closer to the condo, and then I huddled down in the basement area, with the trash bins while that monster storm passed over. It was quite an evening!

It's been awhile since I got to use my wagon. How could I resist with this little one and his photographer mom and grandmom asking about it? (They had seen on my website). I am happy to oblige and here we are. He has my little sailboat all tucked in safely and heading out to the ocean wagon in tow to set sail. Such a little cutie! Loved every minute of being with this family for these very special images. The reflection (which these photographer parents also wanted) was perfect and the evening couldn't have been better.

The parents and grandparents of this little one have been waiting to see something from their shoot. And then, I came down with this summer cold mess and my sharing went on hold. I'm recovering now and back at editing and thought this would be a good first share. Mom and Grandmom are both photographers and were so much fun to work with. They have such a great gallery of images they will see soon. Can't wait for them to see!
