Almost two months ago I was in OKC for a wedding and the next day I got to shoot an engagement session at Scissortail Park and part of downtown. Totally forgot to share it, ha, so here we are.

About 7 months ago, I switched trash companies and so did several of my family members. The main reason? Price! They were offering the same service for pretty much half the cost.

Since then, things haven't been the best. If I had to guess, they don't show up half of the time. I know my family has had to call them multiple, multiple times and tell them.

Now, does this really matter to me? Not really. I don't make a lot of trash, so I really don't notice when they don't show up, but it really bothers my aunt.

Unfortunately, this happens a lot in all types of industries and products. There is a reason they are cheaper than the rest. Usually their service or product isn't going to be as good as the rest.

So like I said before, I think the big thing is with purchases, you have to decide, is this something I really care about? If it's not, then go ahead and get the cheapest option. If it is though, please do some research and don't make a decision based only on price because you will likely be disappointed.

To all my wedding vendor friends out there or wedding guests, what's been the best/ most unique thing you've seen at a wedding in the past 5 years?
This last year, I got to be a part of a super nerdy and fun wedding. They were a D&D group, so they gave out d20's to everyone plus little Funko Pops!

I started traveling for weddings like 6 years ago, and it's crazy how many different places I have been. Just recently booked in North Carolina and Tennessee. Also, talking to someone about Nebraska and Louisiana.
It's been a great way to meet so many people that I never would have had a chance to meet. Keep it coming!

I know I say this a lot but I love my job and the people I get to work with.

Last weekend was amazing. Went to KC on Friday and spent the day riding rides at Worlds of Fun. Then Saturday, I had the pleasure of hanging out with the best group of people around. Again, I know I say that a lot, but truly, amazing people.

Hannah and Mac and their friends and family are the most joyful, kind people around. This was my second wedding with them and I sure hope I get to see them again soon!

Another OKC wedding! This is how holiday weekends are meant to be spent.
Drove to OKC on Thursday and went to an amusement park. Then Friday, July 3rd, had this amazing wedding. Drove home the next day to blow up things with my family!
