Another week and another group of people that make my job so much fun! Last Friday I was surrounded by doctors, teachers, and one semi comedian. Just a few pics before I run off for my own vacation.

It's been awhile, so I decided to revamp some of the photos on my website. That means though I have to look through thousands of photos from 100 shoots and weddings.

The really cool thing is I got to see so many moments that I had totally forgotten about. That's what's great about photos. They help us remember and relive some amazing moments in our lives.

I was in Jefferson City this weekend for a wedding and while I wasn't impressed with the capital of Missouri, I was highly impressed by these guys! You want to talk about style and a crazy fun time. This is the one!

Last week was very different than my normal work.
For those of you that don't know, my father is an amazing carpenter and actually kind of famous in that world.
Fine Home Building flew out a guy and I helped him shoot an instructional video for four days. No idea when it will be released but if you want to learn some carpentry skills, be on the lookout!

No wedding today but I did get to do something really special last week: lie and trick someone.

Ok, ok, I know that sounds horrible, but it was for a good reason.

Last Sunday, I helped Taylor propose to his now fiance Bri.

The hardest part of proposals is always figuring out how to get the person to the right place without them getting suspicious. One way is to say you are booking a portrait session and that's what we did. The good thing about that is I don't have to hide in a bush or anything.

The setup and planning is also a big part of it. We did normal portraits for probably a good 20 minutes before we got to the spot and were ready for the proposal. To keep her distracted we used a prompt. They would stand back to back and spin around and do something to try to make the other person laugh. On the third time, when she turned around, Taylor was on his knee with a ring.

So excited for these two and I found a new park in Fayetteville that I had no idea existed! What a great day!

A few weeks ago I decided to do something fun. I watched all three Lord of the Rings movies in one day. No, it wasn't the extended editions but still, it was a good 9 hours of the day.

All of that was to prep for the wedding I had on Saturday, which you might have guessed had a Lord of the Rings theme.

I'm a bit of a nerd, so this really made my day!
