Happy Sunday yall!! I am taking a slight pause on bookings to finish up all my galleries and to get my end of summer Lemonade stand mini sessions set up.

For the lemonade stand minis I plan to set up at 2 different locations:

1. Cape Fear Botanical Garden. These sessions will be very limited as they close at 5 p.m.

2. Clark Park (near the VA on Ramsey st) There will be more sessions here; however, the sun is setting earlier and earlier now so the last session will start at 7:30 pm.

Official dates will be announced next week, but we can discuss now if you’re interested. All referrals and returning clients will receive 20% off so feel free to share!

Let me start by saying I am NOT a wedding photographer. Maybe one day, but that is a level of stress that this type B gal just can’t manage right now, lol.

But this request I couldn’t say no to. And it was an experience I was thankful to be apart of.

This photo felt so special to me. That moment when a fathers passes responsibility of his daughter to the man she loves. And the smile they all shared in the moment was heartwarming to say the least.

🌻 August Sunflower Update 🌻

We've had several folks asking about our August sunflower field, so here's the latest update.

We planted another sunflower field back in July that was expected to bloom within the next week or so. Unfortunately, when we planted it, we were dealing with extremely hot and dry conditions, which caused some germination issues. Then, just as things started turning around, all of the rain we've received has created another challenge by leaching away much of the fertilizer.

As a result, our sunflowers are much shorter than we had hoped, and I don't expect them to gain much more height before they bloom. I'm not throwing in the towel just yet, but at this point it's honestly not looking very promising.

The good news is we do have sunflowers and zinnias planted for our Fall Festival in October! They should be blooming during our fall activities and will be located at our main farm:

📍 2899 Gillis Hill Rd, Fayetteville, NC

This year's flowers will not be in the field with the big oak tree because we rotated our corn maze into that field. Instead, the sunflower field will be in the original location where we first started our sunflower fields back in 2020.

We're sorry for the change and appreciate everyone's understanding. We'll continue to post updates as the flowers get closer to blooming. Here's hoping Mother Nature has one more surprise in store for us! 🌻
