I’ve known Mya since 2020, when I photographed her sister Chelsea’s wedding. And ever since then, this family has held such a special place in my heart. 🤍
Jen (Chelsea and Mya’s mom) has trusted me with so many of their milestones over the years — senior photos, prom photos, family photos — and every single time, it feels like catching up with people I genuinely care about. That’s the magic of this job.
On Saturday, I got to photograph Mya and meet her amazing friends, Nikka and Lily, and these girls instantly reminded me of my own high school friendships — laughing nonstop, hyping each other up, and just having the best time together.
The White House Co. was the perfect spot for photos and getting out of that classic North Dakota wind. (Highly recommend booking them for prom pics) The little corridor outside saved the day for some beautiful, protected outdoor photos too.
Girls, thank you for trusting me with your prom memories. Your friendship is as beautiful as you are, and it was such a joy to document this moment in your story. ✨
