Anyone else feel like once fall hits, the calendar suddenly goes from fine to HOW IS EVERY WEEKEND BOOKED?! 😂🍂

Between school, sports, pumpkin patches, Halloween, and everything else that sneaks onto the calendar, family photos can be one of those things we keep saying we’ll schedule… until suddenly it’s November.

So here’s your little reminder to get them on the calendar before the fall craziness begins. 🤎

And hey, you don’t have to wait for the leaves to change. Late summer light is pretty dang magical too. ✨

Message me to get your session scheduled!

There’s something about watching them step into a new chapter that gets me every time. 🥹

I’m not sure when my little boy turned into such a young man, but man, I’m proud of the kid you’re becoming. 💙

Here’s to a year full of learning, good friends, big laughs, and new adventures. Go be you, buddy. 🫶🏼

Mama is sure going to miss hearing you jam to Stick Season on repeat from the other room 🫶🏽

A quiet moment with the bride before the day carried on. 🤍
The dress. The veil. The flowers. That soft summer light coming through the trees.
Bridal portraits are one of those times I love slowing things down — no rushing to the next thing, just a few minutes to take it all in and let her feel really freaking beautiful.
Because LOOK AT HER. ✨

The part of a wedding day that happens before everyone is watching. 🤍
The dress being laced. Jewelry being fastened. A veil carefully placed. Someone stepping in to fix the one little thing that isn’t quite right.
And somewhere in between all of it- the laughs, the nerves, the hugs, and the quiet little “I’ve got you” moments.
I love getting to photograph this part of the day because it isn’t really about getting ready.
It’s about the people who are there helping you do it.
The moms. The bonus moms. The friends. The girl gang. The women who showed up long before the wedding day and will keep showing up long after it.
Those moments deserve to be remembered, too. 🤍

11 months old today. 🥹🤍
Which means we're officially in that weird stage where somehow they're still your baby... but you can already see the toddler sneaking in.
I seriously can't get enough of this little gal- the little ponytails, the chubby cheeks and legs, the way she fits perfectly on mom's hip.
These are the things that feel so normal right now that you don't realize how quickly they're about to change.
And THAT is why I love family photos.
Not because everyone needs to look at the camera and smile.
Because someday, you’re going to want to remember exactly what this version of your family felt like. 🤍

If you've ever had a session with me, you already know I'll probably fix your hair, tell you exactly what to do with your hands, make weird noises to get the kids to look at me, and get WAY too excited when the light hits just right.
And somewhere in between all of that, we'll make some pretty dang beautiful photos. 🩷

Some sessions mean a little more. 🤍

This is Dillon Pickles.

And if Dillon had his way, this entire session would have consisted of one thing: playing fetch. 😂🤍 Seriously, all this boy wanted was his ball thrown one more time.

On Monday, his family had to say goodbye to him. Before that goodbye, we were able to slow things down for a little while and capture moments of him- his love for his ball, the snuggles, the kisses, and all those little pieces of Dillon that his family never wants to forget.

These are the sessions that remind me why photographs matter so much. Sometimes they aren't just pictures. They become a way to hold onto the little things; the things that once felt so ordinary and suddenly mean everything.

A life loved. A life remembered. 🤍

Rest easy, Dillon Pickles. I hope there are endless games of fetch up there with the big guy.

I was culling last night's session and suddenly...
👊😂

Tell me you see it too.

Sometimes the outtakes end up being my favorite part of a gallery.

I find the internet's newest "Success Baby"!!!

What wedding photography really looks like... 🤍

It isn't just showing up with a camera.
It's fixing dresses before you even notice they need fixing.
It's straightening little details.
It's scooping up your super cute toddler so Mom and Dad can have a few uninterrupted moments together.

The camera is only one small part of what I bring to a wedding day.

My goal is for you to feel taken care of, so you can stay present while I worry about the little things.
(And yes... sometimes that means my job description includes dress fluffer and professional toddler holder. 😂)

One of my favorite parts of photography happens after the shutter clicks.

This image was captured by Emerald Goose Photography, but I edited it in my own style, and I couldn’t resist sharing it. 🥰

I love creating images that feel light, timeless, and genuine. My goal is always for you to look back at your photos years from now and remember exactly how the moment felt.

Being able to edit one of my own wedding portraits made this one extra special. I can’t wait to continue creating memories like this for the families and couples who trust me with theirs.
