One of the greatest joys in our studio this year has been welcoming so many couples through our doors. ❤️

In the middle of busy schedules, careers, children, and everyday life, it's easy to forget to pause and celebrate the relationship that started it all. 🐾Furry Fergus and Barney Rubble — yep those are the names of these two handsome boys! Dawn brought in her fur babies, oh and two of her best girlfriends joined in the fun too, and trusted us to create memories and portraits for a lifetime 🩷

It's not an understatement to say that Dawn has made an impact on this world for the better. After nearly losing Fergus during a surgical emergency in New Mexico—where no emergency veterinary hospitals existed at the time—and facing another close call with Barney Rubble, she turned heartbreak into action.

Determined to help other pet families avoid the same experience, Dawn wrote an article, partnered with veterinarians in Fargo and New Mexico, helped recruit additional veterinarians, and played a key role in establishing Animal Companions of Las Cruces in 2021. https://animalcompanionsoflascruces.org/
What began as a personal crisis became a mission that has changed countless lives—both human and animal.
