Summer evening at Bishop’s Garden, the prettiest light, a little drizzle, and two people counting down to their big day. ✨💍🌿

We explored all the beautiful spots around the National Cathedral, took advantage of that gorgeous evening light, and even finished the session with a little rain. Honestly, a pretty perfect way to spend a summer evening in DC. ☔️💕

I’m so excited for these two and cannot wait to see them say “I do!” Counting down until we get to do this all over again—this time with a wedding dress, a tux, and a whole lot more celebrating! 🥂🤍

Tiffany & Michael tied the knot aboard the National Elite Yacht at The Wharf in Washington, DC, and it was everything a Washington DC yacht wedding should be. They exchanged vows on the open-air top deck with the city skyline as their backdrop, then celebrated with dinner and dancing below while cruising past some of DC’s most iconic views. From the waterfront at The Wharf to the glowing monuments at sunset, every moment was pure magic.

One of my favorite things about photographing engagement sessions is getting a glimpse into my couples’ lives. ❤️

This sweet couple calls The Wharf DC home, so they led me to some of their favorite places around the neighborhood, making every stop feel meaningful. From the boardwalk to the swings, every location held special memories and was the perfect backdrop for celebrating this exciting season.

Their laughter was absolutely contagious. I caught myself smiling the entire time I was editing because every image brought me right back to the jokes, the sweet moments, and the joy we shared together.

And I have to admit... I completely fell in love with their adorable pup, Meatball! 🐶 You can tell by the look on their faces just how much they adore their fur baby. Those photos might just be some of my favorites. I can’t wait for your wedding day!

After photographing weddings for more than two decades, it’s rare that I see something completely new... but this couple surprised me in the best way! Instead of a traditional cake cutting, they had a wedding cake piñata filled with scratch-offs and sweet treats. Watching their guests cheer as it burst open was such a fun and memorable moment!

Set against the beautiful backdrop of The Hendry House at Fort C.F. Smith in Arlington, Virginia, this gorgeous summer wedding was filled with laughter, love, and creative touches that reflected the couple perfectly. Even their sweet dog Luna, a retired explosive detection canine, walked the groom down the isle in the ceremony. It’s always an honor to capture celebrations that are as unique as the people at the heart of them.
