Ayyyy my first session in Brazil! 🇧🇷

Even after 14 years of photography, I still had that same excited feeling of a “first.”

I already can’t wait to keep exploring, creating, and capturing more of Brazil.

And a huge thank you to this beautiful family for trusting me to photograph such a special season of life. Baby boy will be here any day now!

Cue the samba music. 💃🏽

Of all the places this business has taken me, I think I’m most excited for this chapter. There’s something incredibly inspiring about meeting new people, new places and having an entirely new part of the world to photograph.

From the streets of Brasil to families, culture, travel, and all the little moments in between, I cannot wait to see what South America looks like through my lens.

First, we settle into our new home.

Then... I’m taking my camera everywhere.

I’ve known Anna since she was 26, and getting to watch the last decade of her life unfold has been a gift. Transitioning from Active Duty, to becoming a mother, and watching her pursue her dream of becoming a photographer, it’s been special to witness each chapter. Watching someone you care about grow into exactly who they’re meant to be is a beautiful thing, and she should be so proud of all she’s built along the way.

HAPPY 36th Birthday, may your spirit and your body always feel a little younger than your age 🍾.

I usually stick to a strict “three sneak peeks” rule, but not this time. Alena and Brad weren’t just effortlessly beautiful, they also brought such a fun and easy energy to every moment we captured.

This shoot was everything you imagine when you think of DC at its most aesthetic: timeless architecture woven together with quiet, peaceful corners of the city. Pure magic from start to finish.
