Friday evening was the highlight of aircraft photography for me. The STOL comp was super fun to photograph, but seeing a lot of the competitors go in and out of Delta H Airfield gave me a lot more to work with. Off-road tires are cool on asphalt but even cooler on a little private grass strip in the country.

I’ve had some pilot friends with planes for a long time, but never really had the chance to see what this stuff is all about. I met some amazing people this weekend and got a good idea of just how awesome off airport aviation can be.

I’m finally getting time to get some editing done and I’m excited to see how the rest of these turn out. Thanks to everyone who welcomed my family with open arms this weekend, we really appreciate it!

Also, thanks Daniel for taking the kiddo this morning and doing a barrel roll with her 🤘🤘
