My inspiration this month is actress Niecy Nash! Niecy once told Good Morning America, “I just love expanding and not limiting myself, so I'm going to taste it all.”

And wow... do I love that. The definition of zest for life!

Niecy and her wife, Jessica Betts, have a tradition of creating glamorous, fun holiday card photos each year, which is part of the reason she was on my mind this month.

Holiday cards can absolutely be corny, complete with matching “ugly” sweaters. But they can also be glamorous, playful, stylish and completely your own, just like Niecy and Jessica’s.

Are professional headshots worth it?

This is my lovely client, Tammy. She is an EMDR therapist, TEDx speaker, and someone doing incredibly important work. When you visit her website, her portrait is one of the first things you see, right alongside her invitation to “step into your fullest expression of Self.”

Wow. That photo is already telling you something about who she is. Warm, inviting, empowering. And her words bring it home.
