Here’s a late-night light show I literally CAN'T see in Alaska right now (I'm home visiting). Why?! Because it's June and light all night!

This is my brother Tim Boese’s "Alive with Green Light - Pixelated Aurora Borealis." Neon-green pixelated ribbons sweep across a charcoal sky above a serrated treeline.

I was drawn to the bold presences here: a tall man in a black hat and a woman in a knitted pink cap standing close, their stance and an arm around each other reading like solidarity with a touch of tenderness.

I found "Exercise your Empathy," at the March for Immigrants' Rights in the West Village. The sentiment feels timeless to me.
