Boese Galleries

Boese Galleries My art is rooted in curiosity about the spaces we inhabit—both wild and constructed, communal and solitary.

awn to subjects of resilience and presence: the determined stride of a grizzly, the bold stance of an activist, the fleeting perfection of a flower in bloom. Each is an invitation to pause and consider the stories embedded in environments—how a landscape shapes us, how a community finds its voice, how a single moment can anchor memory and meaning. I blend photojournalistic observation with expressive interpretation, to capture not just what I see, but what I feel: the tension between wildness and civilization, the hope that animates collective action, the quiet dignity of everyday life. Whether through photography or painting, our goals as artists in our diverse galleries is to create art that sparks conversation, reflection, and a renewed sense of connection to the world. Every piece we share carries a belief that art can both document and transform, offering new ways to see and care for the places and people that shape our lives. See the Change You Want to Be

Welcome to a gathering of artists who create with purpose — who see, feel, and reflect the world as it shifts beneath our feet. We stand for what is vanishing: wildness, wonder, democracy, glaciers, bees, and the quiet dignity of all living things. Our work honors the pulses of life — from the raw edges of nature to the rhythm of communities finding their voice.

Janet Dyer’s Pink Tree in Green Meadow arrives like a quick blush of spring: a fuchsia canopy over layered greens beneath a blue sky.

I like how the color planes and lively marks create a subtle push and pull, readable from a distance and full of small discoveries up close.

We're discussing making this original available as a pillow cover print. I think it would look neat! What do you think?

Father's Day has a way of creeping up like a glacier, and "Layers of Old Glacial Blue Ice" is a thoughtful place to start if you're looking for something that speaks a father's language about permanence and fragility.

My Father's Day Sale is now live, and you can use code DAD2026 for 20% off artwork in my collection.

Tim Boese's "Rusted Propeller in Sunset" presents weathered propellers resting on an Alaska shore.

Cool rusted metal reflects a band of sunset gold while a distant pier slices the horizon and tangled greenery softens the base.

It has the quiet presence of something that’s done its work and is content to watch the tide, drawing the eye from its hulking foreground to the strip of light beyond.

Come to a Mad Hatter's Tea Party!

Tall pines frame a sunlit clearing where a weathered red shed anchors an odd scene. A round table and mismatched chairs hold a pink rabbit‑costumed figure and a mannequin in a wide‑brimmed hat, bright colors popping against muted browns underfoot.

String lights, a stack of lumber, and scattered tools make it feel paused between stories—playful and a little off‑kilter.

We’re happy glad to share Mad Hatter’s Tea by Bernadette Longo with you. See it here: https://www.chrisboese.photo/warehouse-open-edition-prints/art_print_products/mad-hatter-s-tea

Lady Liberty, in mint-green robe and jaunty crown, stands at a No Kings event in Alaska holding signs that read "Stop the Billionaire Takeover" and "Fight Truth Decay."

"Liberty's Call Against Oligarch Greed" pairs a theatrical wink with plainspoken urgency. It invites conversation about freedom and equity and carries a wry, stubborn kind of courage.

What do you think, is it time to shake things up?
