5 mistakes that can make your wedding day feel rushed…

1. No buffer time.

Sometimes hic-ups happen or things take longer than expected. Adding buffers is critical when building your timeline.

2. Family photos that are no pre-organized.

We make a shot list a month in advanced so that your family knows exactly who is involved and what time they need to be there.

3. A tight getting ready schedule.

Your HMUA should be able to guide you on the timeline they like as long as you provide them with a time that you HAVE to be done and picture ready!

4. Trying to do everything.

It takes a village. It’s okay to delegate tasks to your family or wedding party.

5. No dedicated time for couples portraits.

You two are the star of the show, all day! You cannot forget to set a solid amount of time to capture your couples portraits.
I always recommend two time slots during the day. When you do a first look or right after the ceremony and again during golden hour.
Both time slots we add to the timeline so they don’t get missed!

One of the biggest things that impacts your photos isn’t your outfit or the location, it’s the light.

Lighting changes the mood, colors, and overall feel of your gallery. Soft, natural light creates bright, timeless images, while harsh or low light tells a completely different story.

Whether it’s a family session, engagement, wedding, or senior photos, I always pay close attention to the light so the mood of your gallery can be reflected correctly with the lighting we have.

There is no bad lighting, there is just bad ways to utilize the lighting. I strive to stay knowledgeable in every lighting situation so I can give you the best gallery possible. ✨
