This family along with some trusted friends certainly just pulled off another epic weekend event. One thing is highly evident, the 2025 events popularity and success was no fluke. I’m adament the crowds were doubled, everywhere I looked it was a sea of faces young and old.
I’m extremely thankful to Tim, his family and team for allowing my 13yr old son and myself to capture the atmosphere trackside again this year. Not only that but allowing us to be part of it as vendors with a couple of great ladies who are sisters. Those ladies work tirelessly selling what we capture, printing and framing the photos on the spot. All so people can have a take home a forever memory perhaps of themselves a friend or loved one racing.
Raise a glass or in my case a cold can of PBR
to the Plouffe family for helping to keep American nostalgia alive via many sacrifices of time, money and sanity. Without events like this, slowly the scene we love will fade away.
Tim’s vision of an empty landscape at 508 International in Charlton MA and bringing it to life. It brings hope that the grass roots era of American racing and days gone by keep us well entertained and alive for the future.
It certainly was my pleasure to capture the Plouffe’s with this family photo wall hanger moment as the dust settled on Sunday.
If you missed grabbing your photos, please check them out online where you have many options to buy from. Keep in mind what you see via my website is unedited, possibly a few bloopers, the odd ground shot etc. be assured that photos get edited prior to customers receiving them.
Photo sales help my 13yr old son buy and build his first Hot Rod. Who knows, maybe he’ll race it!
