There's just something magical about a beach sunset, a growing baby bump, and two people getting ready to welcome their newest little love!

I absolutely loved capturing these sweet moments on the beach! The golden light, ocean breeze, and beautiful connection between these two made for the perfect maternity session.

Did you know maternity sessions are best scheduled between 28 and 34 weeks? Your bump is beautifully rounded, and you're typically still comfortable enough to enjoy your session!

These two don't even know each other, but they have something pretty special in common… they share the same birthday!

Happy 1st Birthday, Kooper and Rory! I hope you both have the BEST day celebrating today! 💙

I have absolutely LOVED the simple birthday setups parents have been requesting lately, just a timeless, classic setup that keeps the focus on your little one and their personality!

And that's exactly what I love about these sessions. Every baby reacts differently! Some dive right into their cake, some are a little unsure, and others are more interested in everything BUT the cake. 😂

Did you know my first birthday sessions include more than just the cake smash?

We start with traditional portraits before the mess begins, move into the cake smash, and finish with an adorable little bath session! Not only does the bath help get everyone cleaned up, but sometimes those end up being the babys' favorite part!

If your baby is approaching that big FIRST birthday, I recommend scheduling their session a few weeks before their actual birthday, especially if you're wanting photos to display at their party!
