Yes Im still doing photography, people ask me all the time. I am still here for all my regulars and their referrals.

I have made the tough choice to no longer do photography as a public business. This decision did not come easily. But the last few years since Covid our area has become more and more saturated with photographers who unfortunately I cannot compete with when it comes to prices. I have tried to set my work apart and have had to charge what I feel I’m worth as someone who has to pay federal taxes. I just cannot compete with the prices I have seen in this area. With only having 2 clients since September I am realizing that my work has either faded out or I’m just not within budgets here especially because of this economy. And that’s ok!

Changing of seasons is hard but I also know that it can be a good thing and needed. I have loved pouring myself into the images I have had the opportunity to take over the last 16 years. It truly has had moments of real joy. It has also had some tough moments that I’ve had to learn through. But it has brought me joy making people feel beautiful through their images.

This does not mean I am not a photographer any more. I will always be one. It’s in my heart and mind.

God has given me another mission, the Market on the Bayou - A Certified Texas Farmers Market, it is and will be hard work but I will be patient while working to build it huge. He will allow me to use it. But for now I do feel this is the right thing. Thank you for reading and to those that have allowed me to be apart of creating images. ♥️
