What started out as a beautiful extended family session ended with a smash—a cake smash, that is!
This sweet birthday boy stole the show, making great eye contact with the camera the entire session and taking in all the excitement around him. When it was finally time for cake, he didn't disappoint! From curious tastes to frosting-covered fingers, he fully embraced the experience.
I love when families gather at the beach to celebrate milestones like these. The laughter, the memories, and a little bit of cake-covered fun make for the perfect ending to a wonderful evening.

Not every little one is eager to flash big smiles—and that's perfectly okay. 💙
This sweet boy kept his eyes on my camera almost the entire session, taking in everything around him with the cutest curious expressions. While his smiles were a little shy, his personality still shined through in every photo.
One of the things I love most about photographing families is capturing children just as they are. Those serious looks, tiny grins, and quiet moments are all part of their story.
