🇰🇷 The WOLF PACK Is Here🇺🇸

Three tails. Three legacies. One Wolf Pack.

So stoked to share the newest additions to the Tail Series are here, celebrating the fighter heritage of the 8th Fighter Wing at Kunsan Air Base.

🐾 35th Fighter Squadron “Pantons” – AF 90-0735
Featuring the Pantons’ unmistakable blue heritage markings and the squadron’s “PUSH IT UP!” motto.

🐺 8th Fighter Wing “Wolf Pack” – AF 89-2060
A throwback heritage design featuring the classic camouflage scheme, bold WP markings, and “SCAT XXVII” honoring the legendary Wolf Pack lineage from the days of Col Robin Olds.

💀 80th Fighter Squadron “Juvats” – AF 89-2054
The Headhunters come to life in yellow and gray, finished with the unmistakable Juvat motto: “CRUSH ’EM!”

Together, these three patches represent generations of fighter heritage on the Korean Peninsula, from the history that built the Wolf Pack to the Airmen carrying that legacy forward today. Huge thanks to the 8th FW for joining this Tail Series journey!! 🙏 Snag these at the unit snack-o and in my shop!

Fear The Shadow 🦖

One can dream that maybe one day there would be a Starscream livery thrown onto the Raptor IRL. Had some fun with one of my favorite Raptor photos I’ve ever taken, back during the night ops I used to capture with the 43’d FS when the Raptors lived at Eglin for a few years post Hurricane Michael. Ready Player 1, Who’s Your Pick? 🇺🇸

Three different frames from three different outings with Tyndall Air Force Base with three different platforms. I know who I’m picking. Who you got? 😛

These were some of the harshest lighting, haze, and fire smoke conditions but the moments from each are ear shattering with the low transitions from the Raptor, Lightning II, and the Eagle!

Thirsty Phoenix 🦅

The art of aerial refueling is truly something incredible. To think just over a century ago, Wesley May wing walked from his Lincoln Standard bi-plane onto a JN-4 Jenny, and poured 5 gallons into it, demonstrating the first attempt of aerial refueling. Nowadays, the boom operator on a KC-135 can pump roughly 1000 gallons a minute with ease. Incredible how far technology and aviation advancements have come since 1921! Here’s EX-006 plugging on the boom over the GOA 🇺🇸

Man I love the Canon USA telescope! 🤯

The Minimum Radius Turn (MRT) is one of my faves, and the RF 600mm f/4 absolutely captures all of the details I long for in my photos. I’ve always been a details guy, and seeing these moments in still frame truly showcase just how powerful the Super Hornet is but also how impressive canon’s prime lenses are when shooting with them! Here is Connor O'Donnell in the starting pull of the MRT from directly in front of his position before shredding overhead. 🔥

Pink Vibes Only 🩷✈️

It was SO awesome to finally link up with Stephanie Goetz & Olga Sannikova and welcome The Pink Jet to the Emerald Coast!! Pink smoke, G-Strains (iykyk), and a great mission made for an awesome time last weekend with this team and was my daughter’s favorite airplane!

The Pink Jet Team is more than just an aircraft, it’s a symbol of strength, hope, compassion, and resilience in the fight against breast cancer. This pink L-39 Albatros has been repurposed from a fighter jet into a powerful platform for good, flying at airshows to raise breast cancer awareness, support survivors, encourage early detection, and raise funds for organizations working toward a cure. “Bye Buddy” - Mr. Narwhal 🇺🇸

Red, White, and Blues Week is something more than just the sneak pass each summer, but at the same time, capturing this moment of the season’s Lead Solo ripping it at 50ft, 0.95 Mach, roughly 751mph due to the conditions this weekend, is truly one of my favorite moments every year. It’s unpredictable, it’s never the same shot, and it never ceases to amaze!

These are some of the clearest photos I’ve ever taken of an aircraft going just under the speed of sound. The gear helps, but years of experience with this one moment have helped me push the envelope of how I capture this moment each season, and showcase the raw power and speed at which a Blue and Gold Rhino produces here along Pensacola Beach. Living in the moment, this moment, is truly extraordinary and I’m blessed to be able to feel, witness, and share this moment with all of you! 💙💛🇺🇸
