october is one of the busiest (if not THE busiest) month for photos, which means your photographer is working OT! 😅 that being said- your galleries will be returned to you within the contracted timeframe, but delivery day may be pushing towards the end of that timeframe rather than the beginning!

hi! i’m camryn, the face behind thecamryncollective. i’m a 22 year old photographer based in the des moines metro. i frequently shoot weddings, but also love any and all creative concepts!
studio shoots, headshots, branding, couples, maternity, bridals, seniors, grads, and bo***ir are all things that i offer through thecamryncollective. you may have also seen my face (or my work) through peridot & lace, as i am one of the lead shooters on their team! i’ve been building my business and portfolio since 2022 while in college, but really took a leap of faith into the photography world about a year and a half ago. since then, i’ve learned so much about photographing, marketing, planning, communication, and building relationships with clients. i love this job & it is my life (along side my amazing & always supportive fiancée christian and my golden retriever marley). i love my clients, i love capturing memories, i love watching a love story unfold, i love being a part of each milestone.

I offer a lightly guided documentary style of shooting, to ensure moments are being documented exactly how they happened, but to also give you assistance on posing & prompts when needed. Throughout my 4 years of wedding photography experience, I’ve found that this style of shooting has worked great for all of my couples, whether you are comfortable in front of the camera or not. I believe your wedding shouldn’t have to feel like a strictly scheduled photoshoot, and more like YOU.
