Sneak peek for Grace š
I need to give a shoutout to the one and only Kristy Hall for this one. Had it not been for her, Graceās session as you see it above, would not have happened. Never in my entire career has this ever happened to me. Camera failure. It was devastating. Iām still having nightmares. And it happened within the first 15 minutes of her session.
This is not how the story ends, Graceās Mom made a phone call that would inevitably save my ass completely. Not only did Kristy answer but she rolled up within 30 minutes with her camera body so I could finish the session. You see, we were shooting at Pepperharrow - which requires reservations. There were no more available time slots AND they were cutting the lavender the following week. Rescheduling would have changed everything sheād wanted about her session. Now do you understand the ādevastatingā part? Yeah. So instead of having to reschedule our shoot, Kristy saved the day by bringing us her camera. *I also need to add that it was the EXACT same camera I was using so my cards, battery and lenses all worked. What are the odds of that??!
The flowers, lavender fields, and golden hour sun really showed up for Grace, and she absolutely nailed it.
Thank you to Grace and Alissa for being patience with me. Thank you Kristy again for saving my š. Thank you Lindsey Willis for letting us creep into your reserved time slot to finish her session. By the grace of God, all the stars aligned. I am so grateful.
