Can you believe fall is almost here? Great news! I'm reaching out to families who showed interest in a fall sessionover the last few months. So please be on the look out for messages from me. I am beyond thankful for each and every one of you! I may have the availability for a couple more, but please know I will not be booking on Sundays. Sessions includes locations within Wintereset et and Madison County. Travel beyond Madison County is simply $1 per mile (round trip) for anything exceeding the included radius.

Hello! 👋

Before we talk about FALL......

Tell me, what have you been up to this summer? Our family has hit the pool more than once and enjoyed some ice cream at the famous Frostees shop! We've been enjoying what everyone is calling a 90s summer. Lol (but with AC 😉) slowing down, less screens, and more play and adventure like camping in the back yard.

With that said, FALL is approaching. So far I have a nice list of returning families who are wanting to book a fall session and I can't wait to see you all soon!

If you want your family on the contact list PLEASE LET KNOW ASAP and I will contact you in September and work on finding a date that works well for you! As fall is the most busiest time of the year for me (photography + farm harvest) it is helpful to reserve a date a head of time.

Now, go enjoy the rest of the summer and I do have a few sessions available for August.

Sneek peak!
It has been the year for weddings, and I am pinching myself as I said, " I will never do weddings." All the brides I have worked with have been a dream. If you have a small wedding coming up for 2027 I would love to be considered.

Some girls have fairy godmothers. Others have fairy photographers.

This is such a fun story.....

A few weeks ago, I loaded my toddler into the stroller, grabbed my camera, and headed toward Clark's Tower. I simply wanted to enjoy nature and capture wildlife with Ellie.

As I approached the trail, I saw a group of young women in beautiful dresses, laughing together and I noticed the GOLDEN LIGHT that was perfect for pictures.

So, being the extroverted photographer that I am, I walked over and introduced myself. I quickly learned they were visiting from out of town for a bridal weekend. I assured them I wasn't just a random lady with a camera and I was a legit photographer and asked if they'd like a complimentary mini session to remember their trip.

After taking a quick peek at my website (to confirm I wasn't, in fact, a random crazy lady 🤣), they graciously trusted me.

What started as a walk to photograph birds turned into capturing joy, friendship, and a bride to be surrounded by the people she loves most.

I honestly think they blessed me as much as I blessed them. That little unexpected session filled my creative cup in a way I didn't know I needed, and I rushed home excited to edit every image.

As for the birds...

They'll have to wait for another day.

Summer bookings are happening and I only have a few times left for summer! Thank you to the families who booked and countinue to support my small business.

I help families with wardrobe and ease the seassion with a playful and relaxed approach to find those genuine moments.

I also have a waiting list for fall to pick dates as fall gets closer. So if you would like to be on the list, please let me know so I can reach out in September.

I'm thankful for those who come back it means so much to me and thankful for those who are new here. I look forward to capturing your moments 📸
