Recently I had the opportunity to work with to create some imagery based around real, raw, and authentic moments. They had just opened up their new location in Wash Park to continue their mission of creating employment, mentorship, and a path toward barber licensing for people rebuilding their lives.
This shoot was also a reminder that production value is not purely a function of scale. With a clear visual direction and a nimble production footprint, it was possible to create work that still feels elevated, cinematic, and true to the environment it came from.
R&R Head Labs is doing meaningful work in their community and I’m grateful to have been invited to help tell a small piece of that story.
