Shooting with a vintage Italian car is always going to be a YES from me...
Alfa Romeo's are part of my family history so when this pulled up to the venue, I was giddy. I could hear it coming... It sounded just like it should and smelled exactly as I remembered (yes they have a "smell").
Fun fact: My "real name" is Giulianna.
My dad's first car was the Giulietta Veloce, which he still has (I am so lucky my name isn't Alfa - true story).
My dad was/is still obsessed with Alfas and is known as "The Alfa Doc" and was the go-to guy if you needed your Alfa worked on in the 80's. In fact, he started a registry to track the Alfa's (ownership) that were here in the US (before they stopped importing them in the 80's). His contribution to the Alfa community was recognized by Alfa Romeo and they flew my dad to Milan to present him with an award a few years ago!
My parents met at an Alfa Owner's meeting in Southern California in the 70's, and my mom even raced them!
So when I was looking for a vintage Alfa, of course I called my dad and he connected me with these folks. The icing on the cake was getting the last image published in as a full spread in the Alfa Romeo Magazine!
