‼️IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ‼
*this is not a pregnancy announcement 🙃 read below.**

I have made the decision that I will no longer publicly post identifiable photos of children’s faces on my photography pages, in light of the recent Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals ruling.

Once an image is posted publicly, I cannot control who saves it, shares it, alters it, or how it may be used. I refuse to knowingly make images of the children entrusted to me more accessible to people who may use them for inappropriate purposes.

This does NOT change what my families receive. ❤️ You will still receive your complete galleries filled with all those beautiful little faces and moments.

It simply means that the images I share publicly will protect children’s identities through detail shots, silhouettes, backs of heads, hidden faces, and similar images.

There may be beautiful photographs that never make it onto my social media because of this decision and I am completely okay with that.

Protecting the children and families who trust me will always matter more than content.

I can't thank everyone enough for their patience with me with getting albums out and sessions rescheduled.
If you weren't aware, my dad passed away last Tuesday, August 18th - after a long fight with Colon Cancer.
I had to take a bit of a hiatus the last month, but everyone has been soooo understanding and I can't thank you all enough!!

With that being said - I'm BACK! I have missed my camera and I had my first wedding from being gone, last night which was absolutely beautiful and a ton of fun!!!

So let's play catch-up and show off some photos shall we!?

I just want to make a personal post tonight.
Unfortunately, my dad’s time to leave this earth is coming a lot sooner than we had hoped. I have shared with some clients this year that he has been battling stage 4 colon cancer. Today he was started on hospice care, and at this time we know we only have limited time with him going into the next few days.

I have galleries I need to finish for some of you, and I will reach out to each one of you separately, but I just ask for a little extra time as I need to be with my dad and family right now.

If we have a session scheduled this month, please don’t be alarmed if I need to move it into next month.

Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers.

there is something so special about the season before a baby arrives. a season filled with excitement, anticipation, and so much love for someone you haven’t even met yet.

it was an honor capturing this chapter for such a beautiful family. baby is already so loved, and i cannot wait for them to meet their newest adventure! 🤍

some sessions are about the photos... and some are about the people. 🤍

spending the evening with these three was such a joy. from sharing laughs on the dock to splashing their feet in the water and soaking up one of those perfect summer sunsets, every moment felt genuine and full of love.

it's easy to see the special bond these three share, and I feel so honored to have captured this season of their lives together.

the keehner family.

there's something about photographing a family in their own home that just hits different. 🏡

this sweet family wanted to capture life exactly as it is right now the couch they pile onto every night, the front step they race out of, the backyard where all the best chaos happens. No fancy backdrop needed when the backdrop is home.

and these two kiddos? absolute goofballs. We had giggle fits, tickle fights, and we had to end the session with popsicles.
Pure joy, start to finish.

years from now, this is what they'll want to remember...not a posed studio shot, but the real, sweet, slightly chaotic love that fills their home every single day.
