Anyone else aware it was National Family Day?!

Extended family photos don’t have to feel like a group project nobody signed up for. 😅

With the right people (and a little gentle posing magic), they turn into something actually fun... yes, even with Uncle Bob who insists he doesn’t “photograph well.”

And when you add a location like this? Forget awkward. Suddenly everyone looks like they belong in a magazine. The greenery was absolutely showing off—lush, vibrant, and basically doing half my job for me.

Let's talk Fresh 48 photo sessions...

A Fresh 48 session takes place within the first 24-48 hours after your sweet baby is born. I will slip into your birthing space and capture those first moments when it is just you and your new baby🥹

Unlike a traditional newborn session, Fresh 48s are not heavily posed or studio styled. These sessions are all about documenting your baby exactly as they are in those very first moments of life.

The tiny hospital bracelets, flaky newborn skin, wrinkly toes, first feeds, sleepy stretches, meeting siblings, emotional first cuddles, and the overwhelming feeling of “you’re finally here.”

These sessions are raw, emotional, and storytelling-focused... preserving the beginning of your story exactly as it happened. The moments that pass by in a blur, but deserve to be remembered forever 🥰

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the amazing mamas out there 🤍

Yesterday’s Mother’s Day sessions were SO much fun. The snuggles, giggles, dancing, chaos, and sweet little moments made my heart so happy.

This is why my sessions are about so much more than just photos — I want every family to leave with memories, not just images.
