Here’s a little behind the scenes of how I got the shot😂😂
I cautiously climbed down a questionable trail to a smallish “peep” hole in the wall and kept inching around that cramped space with my camera to try and get a fun shot….Grace I think we got a good one!!!!! Thanks Nichole for the shot of me looking like a crazy lady😂😂

Sometimes you just have a sesh that fills you with so much joy and this was one of them. Mason was going along with senior pics for his momma, not because he really wanted to do them BUT I had some thoughts and Mason was up for most of my hair brained ideas:) Mason thank you for letting loose, having some fun, maybe even reliving your childhood a bit on the hoverboard, obliging all my asks and trying to see my "vision" in some of these shots when you probably thought I was crazy! Who knew a hoverboard, AirPods and sunglasses could make for some cool "props". Special shout out to our Merge Mural Fest artists! I just knew some of your amazing murals would be the perfect backdrop for the hoverboard shots!

Oh Izzy...what a glorious evening we had to do senior pics! No wind, perfect temps, gorgeous sunlight, a beautiful subject and even some crowns and a king! ha I am always looking for the light and it did not disappoint tonight and neither did Izzy. She came ready and nailed it. We even got Luke in some. I know they probably thought me making them wear their crowns was silly but these will be fun memories when they are older. Thanks for the fun evening kiddos!

Merge Mural Fest!!! I think these are from Wed and Thursday...I popped in so different times I can't keep them straight! haha It has been the COOLEST watching these artist's visions come to life each time I dropped by. I am kinda sad it's almost done and I won't get tp see them all every day. Everyone involved with Mural Fest has been fun & amazing. They really are some cool cats.

Reminder these 9 murals are directly behind The Republican Newspaper and The Kickstand Bar and Grill here in Danville. They are just north of 36.

Changing it up a bit. Merge Mural Fest is happening all this week behind The Republican, Kickstand Bar & Grill, Mizell's Barber Shop and other businesses. Come by and take a peep at the amazing work and creativity of these artists!!!

Here are some shots from Sunday...and maybe Monday! I pop in a few times a day and snap pics to see progress and different light. Each artist comes in and works at different times depending on their needs. It's been so fun getting to know some of them and ask questions about their creative process.
The big reveal is this Saturday from 11-5!

More from Cianni's first round of pics....She was a dream to snap pics of. Up for whatever I wanted and had some ideas of her own too! Friends do not discount your own yards, properties or family/friends' places for being the perfect spot for pictures. While I love public spaces like the parks and towns....there is just something just a bit more special about doing your family or senior pics at places that are "home".

Just a girl and her truck....I couldn't pick a few to share of Cianni so I am just sharing her truck shots because I love them. She is an awesome diver at Danville and one of my 4H kiddos I have been snapping pics for her since she was little. We actually shot 2 different days and it is so hard to narrow it down to some to post because they were just so dang good.
So many awesome seniors, families, sports, babies and even a wedding I want to share...BUT y'all know I stink at keeping up with posting so here's hoping I actually share some of them eventually ! haha

It's SENIOR Monday! hahaha I was saving these for tonight because this group of boys will have their first last home game tomorrow vs Monrovia @ 5:30pm. I believe they will be on the grass field by the football field. Come out and cheer on these speedy footballers to a victory! Another nephew is a senior....Aunt Amy can't take all these kids of mine growing up so dang fast. Boys let's make it an unforgettable season!!

Thought it might be fun to post similar pics from almost 18 years ago of Chase and his sis and from last week of Chase and his fiancé.
Kit Golden Interiors I still don’t know why you asked me to do your pics again after that fall day, but I’m sure glad you saw my potential and stuck with me all these years!
Friends if you are just starting out and have a love of photography, remember that we all started somewhere. This was me 18 years ago….there is hope for all of us.😂
Thank goodness I kept practicing and learning to be “better and better…day by day” as we say in swimming.
