I walked 20K steps on day one in New York and my couple never once complained. That’s how I knew they were my people.

One of my favorite ways to get to know my couples is to travel with them. Rachel and Jesse showed me NYC, we did another 16K steps on day two, and we ate and drank our way across the city. 😍

I’d go back tomorrow if they said “let’s go!”.

Disclaimer: I am NOT an early morning person. You could offer me a free pony and I’d still say see you at noon and start my day around 10. 🤣

When Jaime and Adam asked me to meet them for a morning session due to their crazy busy work schedule, I didn’t even make them ask twice, we met at Bella Donna Chapel at 6am, which meant my alarm went off at 4:30 and I got up like a functioning adult. 🫠🥲 For these two, I’ll do it. Don’t tell my bed. 🥲🤣

The forecast said heavy rain the whole time, but the rain gods love me (flex!) and held it off until we wrapped. It’s pouring again today - I’m looking back at these and feeling pretty smug about that 4:30 alarm. 🤭😏

Congrats again, you two. Worth every minute of lost sleep. 😮‍💨😌

Just so you know, you’ll always get color versions of every photo I take. But black and white does something to a photo that color just can’t, and I love turning as many as I can into these. 🥹

During our post-booking in person meeting, Adam told me upfront that he's not a fan of being photographed. I appreciate the honesty, but I also watched him show up to The Crescent Court in a full tux, pull Jamie close at the bar, and give me frame after frame that I've been staring at ever since. 😍

Their wedding is at Bella Donna Chapel this September, one of my all-time favorite spots in DFW, and if this session is any indication of how that day is going to feel, I'm already giddy about it. 🤭

I photographed Paulina and Sam's proposal long before I photographed their wedding, so standing there when Sam took her hand under the chuppah at Temple Emanu-El felt like watching a whole story come full circle.🤭

Their day had it all. Matching blue pajamas and a very competitive chess game during getting ready, three first looks that completely wrecked me, a chuppah covered in blush and cornflower blue, the glass break, and a hora that nearly took the roof off The Room on Main.
