Four posts. That's how many times I've shown up on social media professionally this year. And somehow, we're nearly in NOVEMBER. LOL.

Every time I pop back on here, I feel like I owe the internet an explanation. But the truth is, I've just been... living. And working. A lot. 🥹

The funny thing about being a photographer is that my entire career is built around being present. Noticing the little things. Paying attention to the people in front of me. Being *in* the moment instead of thinking about how to share it later.

And somewhere along the way, I started taking that pretty seriously in my own life, too.

I've been busy making art, making friends, loving on my family, and documenting some really beautiful chapters for people who continue to trust me with their memories. And somehow, despite my nearly nonexistent online presence, you all keep finding me. I can't tell you how grateful I am for that. 🤍

So yes, I'm still here. Still photographing. Still creating. Just spending a little more time living life than posting about it.

Will I post more before the year is over? I have good intentions. But let's not make any promises. 😂

Cheers to a year full of beautiful celebrations and even better relationships. The images matter, but the people have always mattered more. The trust, the connection, and being invited into life’s most meaningful milestones is something I will never take lightly.

2026 brings a gentle shift. Same heart, more intention. 🥂

This season has been full of family sessions in the very best way. Real moments, lived in connections, and families showing up exactly how they are.

Documenting families in a natural, documentary way will always be my favorite. The in between moments, the movement, the way everyone naturally interacts. This Leiper’s Fork family session for Kacy and Michael was such a reminder of how meaningful it is to preserve life as it is right now.

Feeling especially thankful for the families who made this season so meaningful.

Carolyn and Ishan’s Hindu American fusion wedding at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville was filled with color, joy, and meaning. Every part of the evening felt alive, from the traditions and music to the way their families came together. Photographing this celebration was such an honor and a reminder of how beautiful it is when two cultures merge into one story!
