They did it!!! They surprised their friends and family with an intimate wedding with 6 people attending (me shooting it, Chase officiating and Colton and Madison witnessing!!) in a field near three crosses on a breezy Saturday morning. During their short ceremony led by we could hear their laughter and the birds singing and it all just felt perfect for them and so peaceful. I love being the keeper of secrets! Also - just so you know - Brooke messaged me wanting couples photos after a courthouse wedding - that’s it. Yet I’m super extra and thought - what about ——more which led poor Brooke down a path of calling and trying to find someone to marry them not in a courthouse. We landed on the perfect officiant!! He did such a wonderful job!! The perfect way to spend a Saturday morning!! Brooke and Harrison thank you for choosing me for your secrets and your photography I pray the Lord gives you many long and sweet years. (Also peep the wedding ring set Brookes father chose for her mother and now Brooke gets to wear it every single day!!)

Taylor looked unbelievable in her wedding dress yesterday and Alec looked so handsome in his perfect suit. Everyone loved how the bridesmaids chose their own outfits and each lady looked unique and fun and gorgeous! The groom and groomsmen matched except for the tie. The groom wore a white tie and his guys wore blue ties. The family farm looked like an incredible dream! It did rain a bit throughout the day but the home provided warm and dry places for us to take photos when needed. We had a little rainbow right before the ceremony! People danced and had fun with the derby theme with many ladies wearing the cutest hats! The vintage photobooth was really the hit of the night - everyone loved it so much that it was constantly in use!! It was really such a fun day! It might have been a little chilly and a little damp at times, but it was loving and beautiful and everything I’ve been excited about for a year! Congratulations Taylor and Alec!

YALL!!! I started photographing “little” Kendra 12 years ago!! I am so blessed to have watched her grow and graduate and now become a whole engaged woman and next year I get to be part of their wedding day. I have photographed her siblings senior sessions, engagements and weddings too!! I just cannot believe I am this luck!! Blake asked Kendra to marry him at Camp Lylewood and we went back there to do this session. It was the perfect evening and they were so much fun. I cannot wait until their wedding day!!

I mean - could this couple be more beautiful? No. No they couldn’t. I have known Taylor since she was a little three year old with the thickest black hair and the prettiest smile. I got to know Alec when his sister got married and I discovered he is pretty hilarious! They are getting married here at the farm where we did their engagement session. I promise you I could photograph this farm every single day and never get bored! It is so pretty!!! Taylor and Alec, thank you for trusting me with these!! Let’s do it again!!!

I absolutely LOVED Amelia’s sense of style! She brought her dobro, her bibs and her super cute super fun self! We photographed this session at where she frequently plays in her bluegrass band, She’s My Sister, Bluegrass duo. Am I not the luckiest lady around that this is my job?!?!

I remember when I first saw this sweet family sitting near us at church. First I couldn’t believe how beautiful their littles were. Then I fell in love with how sweet they all were!! Thank you Partlow’s for trusting me to photograph your very sweet family. I think we could have finished the first ten minutes they were in the studio!

For many years I have begged this sweet family to get in front of my camera and they FINALLY DID IT!!! They are extra special to me because while I consider most of my church friends family, I actually call this group my “cousins”. My maiden name is Foster and that is their last name too!! (Although Wes calls me Hobbit and not cousin!). Thank you all for finally relenting to my begging!! I love you all!
