My favorite shot of a Grizzly in my portfolio. On a remote island within the Inside Passage BC Canada. 45 minute hike to a lake, 45 min. boat ride to the other end of the lake put us in the middle of nowhere of the most beautiful scene I've witnessed. We saw the young adult cross the river 45 yards ahead of us coming strait at us. I laid flat on bow of the boat camera ready. 20 feet away he passed right next to me. I got this shot off as he passed between two branches of driftwood. Goodbye August hello September.
