Ndoto (her name means Dream in Swahili) was one of the leopards I've had the privilege of photographing in Kenya. Sadly, I learned that she passed away yesterday.
She was beautiful, confident, and endlessly photogenic, but more than that, she became a familiar presence in a place I have come to love. I am grateful for the time I spent with her and for the gorgeous daughter, Lucky, she leaves behind. Thanks to my friend Rachel Shelley for letting us all know.
