I'm going to be honest for a minute...

Facebook makes it harder and harder for small businesses to reach people, and sometimes it feels like I'm posting into the void. 😅

The photo on the left was taken when I was first getting started.

The photo on the right was taken recently.

When I look at these side by side, I don't see perfection vs. imperfection. I see growth.

Thousands of sessions.
Thousands of kids.
Thousands of mistakes.
Thousands of lessons.

Back then I was learning how to use my camera.

Today, I know how to find the light, connect with families, keep kids engaged, and create images that tell a story.

It's easy to compare yourself to where someone else is today, but every photographer starts somewhere.

I'm thankful I kept going.

And I'm thankful for every family who trusted me along the way. ❤️
