People always tell us we’re great with kids, and there’s something you should know…

It’s not accidental
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
At NBP, we’ve spent years working with children of all ages - and a lot of thought goes into how we approach sessions.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We’ve intentionally studied child psychology.
We know when a toddler needs a break.
When to pivot instead of push.
When to bring out the bribes.
When to keep the energy high with silly noises and games.
And when the absolute best thing we can do is simply let kids be kids.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A lot of family photography has very little to do with the camera and everything to do with reading the room.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And for the moments where everyone has done their absolute best but chaos abounds…

When I had Pierce seven years ago, I hired a photographer from Mississippi because I couldn’t find a Crestview newborn photographer with the style I loved.

The before and after no one talks about 💁🏻‍♀️

Before a session: “We’ve got this!” as the Rocky song blasts in the background �After a session: “Did we… black out?” 😅

But truly - there’s nothing we’d rather spend our energy on than your people. ♥️

(Also…..did I have any business referencing a song that wasn’t taken directly off Broadway? You know I didn’t. Honestly, I may even be confusing it with the NFL theme song. But we’re going with it…confidently ✨)
