I've known several members of the Barton family for a while, but today was special, because not only did I get to meet more of them, but I also got to interact with all of them on purpose. That is to say, we aren't playing soccer, or basketball, or at a school function , we were there just to get some great moments - and I'd classify this as one of them. Bea and Landon's wedding was today and it was incredible, beautiful, and so so special. This particular wedding held a special place in my heart. Not just because I know the bride and groom, but because the groom, specifically, has been someone I've had the chance to watch grow up. I've had the chance to see him in the good and bad times, I've taken his senior photos, I've been part of his life. And today, I got to be a part of one of the biggest moments of his life. Bea and Landon's wedding is THIS weekend, which is completely insane to me!

We got to head out to Manito Park today for their engagement session, and I loved every second of it. This shoot was extra special for me—not just because I’ve known Landon for so long, or because I actually shot his high school senior portraits years ago, but because I got the chance to really get to know Bea and hear the story of how these two came together.
