Not every photo in your gallery is going to be the one you frame above the fireplace, the one that looks like it belongs on Pinterest, or the one that gets the most likes on this stupid app. Thank GOD for that. 🙌🏻😏
If every image is perfectly composed, when do you actually get to live your wedding day? My job isn’t to manufacture moments that look beautiful. It’s to notice the beautiful moments that are already happening. That’s documenting. 😊
If I have to choose between 1️⃣ spending all day chasing trends and making every photo look “aesthetic” or 2️⃣ chasing the way you laugh and the way your people love you, I’ll pick the second one every.single.time.
So throw your head back and bring on the double chins. Show me your teeth and laugh with your whole face. Dance barefoot to Love Story with your best friends. Shove too much cake in your mouth. Hug your people a little longer than usual. 💓
Will every photo in your gallery be a jaw-dropping showstopper? Nope. (Don’t worry; you’ll have plenty of those, too. 😉)
But I have a feeling the photos you’ll come back to twenty years from now will be the ones that remind you exactly how it /felt/ to be there. That’s the kind of magic I’ll chase every single time. ✨
