Three years later 😍😍😍

When you look at these photos, they aren’t really about the dress (although it’s STUNNING), or the details (although they were thoughtfully planned and beautifully executed).

They’re about the way you FEEL when you look back at them.

It’s true—years from now, a photograph may become far more valuable than it ever felt the moment I took it.

Places change. People change. You change.

But for one frame, everything stays exactly where it was.

This is why I photograph at all. Not because we can stop time, but because we know we can’t.

A photograph is our small way of saying:

This happened.

I was here.

And I noticed. 🤍

So much has changed since this beautiful day—Colleen and Connor welcomed a precious baby girl, and I made my way to SC. Feeling extra grateful looking back. Thank you, God. ❤️
