So it’s been far too since Albert and I hit up a museum together (last February when we went to the Toledo Museum of Art). This time, we choose The Warther Museum in Dove, Ohio. This was a really special one because my dad and I visited here almost 30 years ago. This time also included dad and my Uncle Lenny. This museum, which is a tribute to the life and work of The World’s Master Caver Ernest Warther’s carving collection, including these spectacular trains, was almost just as I remember it...a remarkable display of some world class American artwork documenting his passions. Do yourself a favor and plan a trip, see www.thewarthermuseum.com for details. It’s hard to say this visit will be as memorable for Albert as it was for me all those years ago when my father and I went, luckily I’ve got some cool photos to trick Albert to there when he’s a teenager.
