There’s an art to photographing intentionally.
It’s knowing when to give direction and when to step back. When to gently guide you into a position that photographs beautifully, and then give you the space to make it your own.
Guided posing isn’t about creating a perfectly posed photograph. It’s about setting the scene for something real to happen.
I’m paying attention to the way the light falls, the movement happening around you, the way your hands naturally find each other, the wind catching your dress — all while thinking about composition, connection, and how the photograph is going to feel.
Sometimes I’ll guide the moment. Sometimes I’ll anticipate it. Sometimes I’ll simply notice it.
That’s the art of it to me — photographing with intention while leaving enough room for you to simply be yourselves.
