Had the sweetest evening celebrating Daniel & Allison’s engagement, with Luna joining in on the fun, of course! 🤍🐾

I don’t think I can fully explain just how much I LOVE when you bring your furry friends along for a session! They’re part of your story too, and I’m always more than happy to include them in your photos!

If you’re ever thinking about bringing your pet along, all I ask is that they’re friendly and that you give me a heads up beforehand! I also highly recommend bringing an extra set of hands to help with your furry friend when they’re not in front of the camera. That way, we can capture some sweet photos with them and still have plenty of time for photos of just the two of you! 🥹🤍

A little throwback to last year’s Christmas cookie session because these moments are just too sweet not to share. 🥹🎄

Last year, we baked Christmas cookies, and today, we decorated the tree and watched the best Christmas movie (Home Alone, of course). One of my favorite parts of this job is getting to capture families as they grow!

Grace & Michael celebrating 5 years together!🥹

Grace reached out to book a shoot to celebrate their 5 year anniversary. She let me know they are long distance so she was only going to be in town for a long weekend. Just before she arrived, NWI got hit with a derecho that took out most of our power for a week or more. However, that was not going to stop us! I went to my parents to charge my camera batteries and Grace went to the gym to shower and get ready & we made it happen! & here is the proof🤩

Erik & Renee’s perfect proposal 🥹✨

Erik had his mom set up a photoshoot for them as a “gift” and gave Renee my information to work out all the details. Renee picked the time and place (with some subtle suggestions lol) and showed up ready for what she thought was just a normal couples session.

We started out the same way I do with all my sessions, and as we went, I slowly guided us toward the spot Erik had previously picked out to pop the question.

Once Erik got down on one knee and all the nervous energy he (and I 😂) had been harboring was finally gone, we had the best time frolicking around the gardens for the rest of the evening!

Isabel reached out wanting to capture the kids exactly as they are in this season of life.

So instead of focusing on perfect smiles, we spent the evening playing Monopoly, reading books, picking wildflowers (and a few weeds 🤭), eating fruit, and finishing it all off with popsicles.

These are the moments they’ll look back on someday.

Adding an activity into your family session keeps little ones engaged, takes the pressure off, and creates the kind of candid moments you’ll cherish forever. ✨
