Chicago, IL – Adopt Penelope and Calypso Baby Female Abyssinian Guinea Pigs

Penelope and Calypso are gorgeous four-week-old, tri-color Abyssinian female guinea pig sisters looking for a loving guardian together.

They are currently living with their mom and two sister pigs.

They are currently eating unlimited timothy, alfalfa, orchard and botanical hays, fresh salad, fruits, veggies and young guinea pig pellets. Guinea pigs need daily vitamin C which they get from fresh pellets, a 1-inch squares of red pepper, a vitamin C cookie, and some of their dark leafy greens.

These sweet girls deserve a guinea pig-loving home with people who will handle them daily, keep them well-fed, nails trimmed, and their habitat nice and clean. Baby guinea pigs require a lot of socializing and hand feeding to make them social and friendly.

Elliot is a gorgeous four-week-old, tri-color Abyssinian male guinea pig looking for a loving guardian preferably with another friendly male guinea pig, or matched with another male pig at the rescue.

Elliot has always lived with other guinea pigs and is currently living with his mom and sister pigs. He can probably be matched with his dad Gillingsby or one of the other males at the rescue.

He is currently eating unlimited timothy, alfalfa, orchard and botanical hays, fresh salad, fruits, veggies and young guinea pig pellets. Guinea pigs need daily vitamin C which they get from fresh pellets, a 1-inch squares of red pepper, a vitamin C cookie, and some of their dark leafy greens.

Gillingsby is a very handsome one-year-old, tri-color Abyssinian male guinea pig looking for a loving guardian preferably with another friendly male guinea pig.

Gillingsby has always lived with other guinea pigs but when he impregnated a couple of female guinea pigs in his home, so he was given up to rescue.

Emma and Ashley are incredibly sweet and playful three-month-old sister kittens looking for a loving guardian.

Found stray in the West Garfield Park neighborhood, these kittens must have been loved by someone because they are sweet and well-socialized.

They use their litter box faithfully and are well-behaved in the home.

Romey is a three-year-old, 50-pound friendly and energetic Coonhound/Terrier-mix looking for a loving guardian.

This handsome guy landed at Famous Fido Rescue when his human passed away.

He walks nicely on leash and rides well in the car. He gets along with other dogs he’s played with and walked with at the rescue. He has a happy disposition that matches the big smile on his face. He loves cuddling with his favorite people, giving kisses, and playing with squeaky balls.

Romey is very healthy, neutered, and up to date on rabies and distemper vaccines.

Ingrid is an incredibly sweet, playful, and gentle one-year-old grey and white female cat looking for a loving guardian, preferably with her kitten Rockwell. Rockwell is a playful three-month-old black tabby kitten with golden eyes.

Found stray in the West Garfield Park neighborhood, Momma Ingrid was pregnant when taken into rescue. Baby Rockwell was born on May 1st in a loving foster home.

They are adorable together, use their litter box like good girls. Momma still grooms her baby and they love to wrestle and play.

Monty is well-behaved in the home, perfect with his litter box, playful and loves to eat. Found stray in West Garfield Park, this handsome little dude had no collar or microchip, so he was taken into rescue and has since been fully – vetted!

Spooky is a two-year-old, 71-pound friendly and energetic Smooth Coat Collie and German Shepherd-mix looking for a loving guardian.

This goofy guy has a handsome face, a playful personality, and so much love to give.

After losing his home due to his family’s housing issues, Spooky landed at Famous Fido Rescue.

Spooky is smart, treat-motivated, and eager to learn. He already knows basic commands like sit and paw and is very easy to handle. He walks beautifully on a leash and would make a great companion for someone who enjoys walks and outdoor adventures.

He loves to run around with a ball, play, and splash in the water. Spooky is dog friendly and previously lived with a small dog. He also lived with children and does well with people of all ages.
Spooky is neutered, up to date on rabies, distemper and bordetella vaccines, microchipped and ready for loving family.
