Kat & Cam take me into a different, moodier more dramatic realm. When photograph couples, I let their presence and personality lead the way and it 100% affects the way I shoot. I follow their lead, try to make them comfortable enough to be themselves and let them decide how they want to share themselves.

Chris & Kristen in Black & White.
The perfect light, the perfect weather, the perfect couple. Chris gets the award for most prepared, detail oriented soon-to-be groom I’ve ever had. He thought of every detail and possible give away to make it a surprise. In the end he asked her , “Did you know today was going to be the day?” She said, “ I knew when you put on new shoes “ 😂 His shoes is what ultimately gave it away.
Either way keeping a surprise proposal a secret for days and months is very hard to do even when you have the help of family and friends. Chris’ efforts take the cake!

Follow the light and you will never go wrong. Whether the sun is shining between buildings or bouncing off the side of a skyscraper the light downtown never really fails.
After the surprise proposal we took a walk toward the sun and these two nailed their dip & kiss! Ben & Anna are officially engaged! Next up is Chris & Kristen, previews coming tomorrow.
