This was a special portrait session—one of my last in Chicagoland before I move. JC just turned 25 years old and is as spritely as ever. My goal was to capture their deep love and connection. Goal achieved. �
Tami is one of my friends I met years ago at a boarding barn. Horse friends are different. They get why you don’t seem to ever have “free time,” how you can complain about vet bills, yet how you also have to buy another new halter or treats. They get that your life revolves around this 1,000 pound animal and how so much love, frustration, fear, and joy can coexist.
We’re all a little, well, you know—different. Maybe there’s something in the hay. Just maybe.
