Through years of working closely with girls and families, Casey noticed a pattern — confidence often begins to fade during the middle school and early high school years. Traditional photos weren’t addressing what girls actually needed in that season. In response, Casey created Fearless Spirit, a confidence-building photography experience designed specifically for girls who are navigating self-doubt, comparison, and the pressure to fit in. It’s an original experience created exclusively at Storybook Studios — and one that blends photography, encouragement, and connection in a way no other studio offers. Moms often share that after Fearless Spirit, their daughters:
• believe in themselves in a way they never did before
• stop hiding
• see what others have always seen in them

What if your senior photos included a dress that literally no one else has? ✨

One of the things that makes Storybook Studios different is the Storybook Closet. From couture ballgowns and fantasy costumes to dramatic dresses with trains that seem to go on forever, many of these pieces are truly one-of-a-kind.

In fact, several years ago, I purchased the entire collection of a New York fashion photographer whose dresses were rented to professionals for editorial photoshoots. Some of these artistic pieces can’t be purchased anymore and now live exclusively at Storybook Studios.

I knew Journey was tough.

I did not know she was going to casually flip Eugene through the air multiple times. 😂💪

🫯 Watching her on the wrestling mat was incredible, and the pink bedazzled wrestling shoes were the perfect reminder that strength and femininity are not mutually exclusive.

These portraits are so uniquely Journey, and I love that. 💖

Journey’s senior session was a perfect reflection of who she is—strong, determined, fearless, and completely herself. From powerful wrestling portraits at Oscar Smith to dramatic firefighter images surrounded by fire-inspired light and smoke, every part of this session celebrated the many sides of an incredible young woman.
