Someday, your wedding photographs won’t just belong to you.

They’ll become part of your family’s story.

Someone will want to see what your dress looked like. They’ll notice how young your parents were. They’ll recognize a grandparent they miss. They’ll laugh at the dance floor photographs and ask you to tell them the story behind a moment they weren’t there to witness.

That’s the part of wedding photography I never take lightly.

We’re creating beautiful photographs for you to love right now, but we’re also preserving a day that will never happen exactly this way again.

The people. The relationships. The emotion. The details. And the two of you at the very beginning of this chapter.

Trends will change.

Years will pass.

But photographs have this incredible ability to take you right back.

That is what I want your wedding gallery to do.

Not simply show you how beautiful your wedding was.

I want it to remind you exactly how it felt.

A little wedding-day advice: don’t treat getting ready like it’s simply the part you have to get through before the ceremony.

There is so much happening in those hours.

Your closest friends are together. Your mom is helping with the finishing touches. Someone is steaming a dress. Music is playing. Ch*****ne gets poured. There’s nervous laughter and probably at least one person looking for something that was JUST sitting on the table.

And then there’s that moment when everything changes.

The dress goes on.

The room gets a little quieter.

Suddenly, it feels real.

Give yourself enough time to experience that part of your wedding day instead of rushing through it.

Because getting ready isn’t just preparation for the story.

It’s already part of it.

And there are some incredibly beautiful photographs waiting there.

“I’m awkward in front of the camera.”

If I had a dollar for every time I heard this from a couple…

Here’s the good news: you do not need to know what to do in front of my camera.

That’s my job.

Luxury photography should never mean spending your wedding day worrying about where to put your hands, whether you’re standing correctly, or if we “got the shot.”

I’ll give you direction when you need it. I’ll pay attention to the details. I’ll find the beautiful light. And then I’ll give the two of you enough room to actually be together.

Some moments need a little guidance.

Others need absolutely none.

Knowing the difference is part of the experience.

The goal isn’t to make you look like someone else’s wedding photograph.

It’s to create beautiful, elevated imagery that still feels unmistakably like you.

You chose those details for a reason.

The invitation suite you spent hours deciding on. The jewelry that belonged to someone you love. The perfume you chose for your wedding day. The embroidery inside your dress. His cufflinks. Your shoes. The handwritten vows folded into an envelope.

Even the tablescape you obsessed over for months deserves its moment.

Individually, they may seem like small pieces of a very big day. Together, they tell part of your story.

That’s why detail photographs are about so much more than creating something beautiful for your gallery.

Years later, you’ll be able to look through those photographs and remember things you had completely forgotten.

Your wedding gallery should preserve the big moments, absolutely.

But it should also preserve all the beautiful little things that made the day unmistakably yours.

Here’s your reminder that not every photograph you’ll treasure from your wedding day will be one you planned.

Sometimes it’s your mom looking at you after helping you into your dress.

Your dad trying very hard not to cry.

Your best friend fixing your veil without you ever noticing.

Your grandparents on the dance floor.

The look you give each other when everyone else is watching something completely different.

These little moments happen all day long, and they’re incredibly easy to miss when you’re the one getting married.

Beautiful portraits matter. The details matter. The photographs everyone knows belong on the wedding day list matter.

But so do the seconds in between.

Those are often the photographs that become more valuable with every passing year.

You’ve spent months choosing the details, creating an atmosphere, and planning an experience for the people you love most. Your photography should honor all of it without making your wedding day feel like one long photoshoot.

My approach is about finding that balance. I’ll step in with direction when you need it, then step back when the moment simply needs to unfold.

The result is a gallery that feels elevated, timeless, and completely personal to you.

Because luxury wedding photography isn’t only about creating beautiful images. It’s about giving you the space to actually live your wedding day while knowing every meaningful piece of it is being preserved.

Just a reminder that my husband loves me in all forms — including whatever this version is.

No makeup. Zero polish. Full troll energy. And somehow… still deeply loved. That’s the real flex.

Marriage isn’t about always being put together. It’s about being fully yourself — weird, unhinged moments and all — and knowing someone’s still choosing you without hesitation.

Save this if your partner has seen you at your absolute gremlin-est and stayed anyway, or tag someone who loves you exactly as you are 😂🤍
