It’s honestly heartbreaking to see how emotionally invested people have become in things that are dark, evil, and negative. What we constantly watch, listen to, talk about, and give our attention to eventually affects what we carry in our hearts and minds.

**What you feed will grow.**

If you constantly feed negativity, anger, hatred, violence, fear, and darkness, it shouldn’t be surprising when your thoughts and emotions begin to reflect those things. Negative breeds negative. Darkness only creates more darkness when we continue to give it our attention.

Be mindful of what you allow into your spirit. Protect your peace. Guard your mind. Choose what brings light, love, kindness, hope, and goodness into your life.

There is already enough darkness in this world. We don’t have to give it more power by becoming emotionally invested in it.

A lot of people have asked how they can help after my dad passed seven days ago today. Here is the meal train that was started for my mother. Sign up for a day. Send me a message if you need the address and would like to have something delivered. After my son died two years ago, this is what helped me the most.
