Wanna know a secret? Most kids show up to photoshoots anxious. Or cranky. Or plain mad! But one of the things I pride myself on most is my ability to get people out of their shells, and that very much includes my younger clients. Being able to play games WHILE getting good photos is how I keep families coming back to me for years, and how I have kids wanting to do photoshoots every weekend (I’ve had multiple say this now).

Getting to see love in all it’s forms is one of my favorite parts about my job. It’s cheesy, but I swear I spend my entire time editing photos just grinning. Seeing people happy makes me happy! Do you know how many families I have asked to frolic in fields? Admittedly, not a ton, because someone is always uncomfortable. But THIS FAMILY I STG. I have never come away from a session with my face and my ribs hurting from laughing so much. They took every prompt and joke and rolled with the punches, and the photos speak for themselves! Portraits don’t have to look rigid and uncomfortable. If you’re with the people you love most in the world, it’s my job to capture you all enjoying spending time together! Even if that includes some ridiculousness and frolicking 😉
