A little update on stranger sessions:
Stranger sessions are officially CLOSED until further notice.
I’ve decided I need to be more intentional about the shoots I’m taking on and spend more of my time creating the work I genuinely enjoy — not just for clients, but for myself, too.
Stranger sessions take a LOT of time behind the scenes. There’s coordinating, communicating, planning, scheduling, matching people and concepts, and keeping up with all the moving pieces. And honestly, that time has started taking away from the time I have for myself and the things I actually enjoy doing outside of photography.
I also work a full-time job, and photography is something I do because I love it. I don’t want it to get to the point where I’m spending all of my free time coordinating shoots and have no time left to create for myself, enjoy my own life, or just breathe a little.
So for now, stranger sessions are on pause. I won’t be offering them again until things slow down enough for me to give them the time and attention they deserve — or until I decide I’m willing to make that time for them again.
This isn’t me saying never. It’s me choosing to protect my time, my creativity, and my enjoyment of photography.
I’ll still be sharing plenty of creative concepts, styled shoots, and other fun opportunities. Just without all the extra coordination that comes with stranger sessions.
