A small glimpse into an unforgettable vibrant weekend at a private estate and gorgeous Wilmington this past weekend. I have no words other than you won’t be seeing the last of this wedding anytime soon. From vibrant tapestries flown in from Bali, to intricate installs, to warm love and laughter, this weekend will literally live rent-free in my head for the rest of my life. Congrats to the Lawson’s.!!

POV: I brought one little LED light to two weddings and now I’m questioning everything I know about flashes. 😂

The Godox ML80Bi Color has officially entered my “wait… this might change the game” era.

I originally grabbed it thinking it’d be fun for a few creative spotlight moments on details, but then suddenly I’m using it for speeches, dark exits, reception atmosphere, dramatic little pockets of light, and honestly… the control is kind of addicting.

There’s just something about having constant light instead of guessing what the flash is about to do in the chaos of a wedding day. Being able to SEE the light before I take the photo?? Revolutionary.

I’ve only tested it at two weddings so far, but I already know this little light is about to transform a lot of my work moving forward.

Some wedding days are beautiful… and then there are days like this—where the love doesn’t just exist, it lingers. It wraps around you, settles into your skin, and stays with you long after you leave.

Cass & Daniel’s day was full of the kind of moments you can’t script—raw, honest, unapologetically real. The quiet glances, the deep exhales, the kind of laughter that spills over and pulls everyone in. Nothing forced, nothing performative… just truth in its purest form.

It felt like you could actually wear the love in the room.

This is why I’ll always chase documentary moments—because this kind of magic can’t be staged. It can only be felt and it was such an honor to capture it all for them

There’s just something about this time of year. Everything feels a little brighter, and full of moments you know you’re going to want to remember.

Kicking off my 2026 wedding season in sunny California this weekend and it honestly has got me so excited!
