Hey Friends! I will be at Ninepipes Museum this coming Saturday, August 1, 10:30am - 4pm for the ๐…๐ข๐ซ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐’๐š๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐š๐ฒ ๐‚๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐€๐ซ๐ญ๐ข๐ฌ๐š๐ง ๐„๐ฏ๐ž๐ง๐ญ. I will be showing and selling my fine art photos, along with some other special photo items. It's a fun day full of artisans, crafters, jewelers, authors and more! Lots of beautiful items in the Museums Gift Shop! Live music and yummy refreshments! C'mon out and say HI!

As a native Montanan residing in the beautiful Mission Valley near Charlo, MT. She is fortunate to be surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of her home state. Combining her two passions, equine photography and capturing 'Montana Moments,' brings her immense joy. With a career spanning over three decades, She has had the privilege of specializing in wedding, portrait, and commercial photography, which has taken her to various remarkable locations and allowed her to meet incredible individuals. Recently, she has shifted her focus to capturing the awesome moments of horses in nature, scenic mountain landscapes, and many other spectacular views here in Montana, and around the country.

What an AMAZING day at Johnston Land and Livestock Roping and silent and live auction to support Jesse Johnston and his family! SO many incredible folks from all around the area showed up at this wonderful team roping fundraising event! Over 230 teams participated! Live auction and silent auctions were outstanding due to so many fantastic & generous donors! It is such an honor to see SOOOO many folks come together to support a wonderful & beloved local cowboy injured and needing some help through this 'season' of his life. Our incredible Montana Cowboy community rocks!!! ๐Ÿค โ™ฅ๏ธ

Iโ€™ve been a photographer since 1988, and for decades Iโ€™ve had the honor of capturing lifeโ€™s moments for so many people. Along the way, Iโ€™ve collected countless storiesโ€”clients who became friends, images that became memories, and photographs that carried far more meaning than I ever could have imagined in the moment I pressed the shutter.

Giving someone a photographic memory is a gift that has always meant everything to me.

And nowโ€ฆ there is this image.

When I captured it in June of 2023, I had no idea the weight it would one day hold. I didnโ€™t know this young man thenโ€”but I know about him now. His name is Ben (Benjamin) Brown. A true Montana cowboy. A hard-working rodeo hand who showed up, day after day, to help make rodeos happenโ€”especially with Brash Rodeos in the Kalispell area.

I attend rodeos, brandings, and ranch events to create fine art for my portfolio and my Etsy shop. But this photo became something more. It captured a quiet, honest moment of a man who was essential to his communityโ€”someone who worked behind the scenes so others could shine.

Ben tragically lost his life last week, and my heart aches knowing he leaves behind a precious little boy. This image has since become a focal point within the rodeo community, and I am humbled beyond words that my camera captured a moment that now helps tell his story.

I am so deeply sorry for the loss of Ben. And I am profoundly grateful that, without knowing it at the time, I was able to preserve a moment that reflects the man he was.

May Ben walk in Heaven with God and rest in beautiful peace. โค๏ธ
